I started this piece with the idea of repurposing a mirror into a tray. Little by little inspiration arose and I added gold leaf to the frame. The heart’s core is sculpted from clay, capturing the delicate contours and intricate details of this vital organ. Golden elegance radiates from the heart as stainless steel nails, gilded with a lustrous layer of gold, adding a touch of opulence and sophistication. An acrylic pouring technique has been skillfully applied resulting in a mesmerizing play of colors in black and gold creating a visual representation of the ever-changing emotions of the heart. Sealed with an epoxy clear coat, this wall sculpture will be preserved for generations to come. Corazón de Oro is a symbol of love, resilience, and the enduring beauty found within the human spirit.
