This painting is a portrait of myself looking into my future making it my reality. I painted what looks like a tattoo machine and two paintbrushes to makeup part of the skull. These two attributes are symbolic of my profession as a painter and a permanent makeup artist. The ribbon made up of metal mesh and plaster of Paris surrounding it represents the twist and turns life has for us. Even though life can be rough at times there is also beauty in it hence the Swarovski Crystal encrusted into the ribbon.
